I am the owner and founder of Redwood Counseling. The redwood tree inspired the vision for my practice because, to me, it represents resilience, healing, and continued growth. Just as a redwood can bear the scars of what it has endured and continue to grow, we too can carry the marks of our experiences while continuing to heal, grow, and thrive.
I created Redwood Counseling to be a warm and welcoming place where people can feel supported through the many challenges life brings. While trauma-informed care is an important part of my work, I believe mental health is about the whole person and the experiences, relationships, transitions, and challenges that shape our lives.
